BBC Breakfast broadcast live from Energy House 2.0 this week, the unique research lab at The University of Salford.
The programme focused on the move to electrified heating, as the country continues its journey towards gas-free new homes.
Reporter Ben Boulos spoke with Oliver Novakovic and Richard Fitton about what the test findings mean for homeowners and renters, how much the transition to electrified heating will cost, and what the long-term savings will be.
The latest research also featured in the Sunday Times last weekend, and will be shared with Government, local authorities, housebuilders and suppliers.
